Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant

Big Island Guide Travel Guide

The historic Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant, in Volcano Village is surrounded by acres of beautiful tropical gardens and native forest, making the perfect backdrop for your next meal in Hawaii. The restaurant has a cozy country atmosphere with a vaulted wood ceiling, koa wood tables, local artwork and the Fireplace of Friendship that was created with stones and coins from around the world as the centerpiece.

The restaurant is quite popular so it is a good idea to make your reservation in advance. They serve breakfast and lunch daily and dinner nightly, as well as a delicious Sunday Brunch. There is a European/German influence to the flavors and specialty dishes of the chef, including antelope, rabbit, lamb and duck. From Hawaiian waters, there is a fresh catch of the day on the menu as well. The dinner menu varies nightly but each entree comes with your choice of soup or salad.

The Lilikoi margarita is one of their specialty drinks available from the bar or look over their wine selection. Finish your evening with one of their in-house desserts.
