Puna Farmers Markets
Puna is host to several large Farmers Markets offering up some of the island’s best produce, delicious cuisine and handmade crafts.
After retiring in 2007, Harry and Mouse Durgin have made the most out of their retirement by capturing the beauty of the Big Island through the eye of a lens. The duo giclee print their photographs using archival inks and materials then apply a UV coating to protect them. Procuring planks of Sapele, they mill the wood to build the frames for each piece.
Affordable offerings to welcome the aloha spirit into your home, Tanglewood Gallery provides Big Island photography for art seekers looking to capture the Hawaiian spirit. In 2019 they moved into the Shipman Industrial Park and are going by Island Photo.
