Big Island Lava Boat Tours
No visit to the Big Island is complete without heading out to see molten lava. There are many ways to see the flows but a Lava Boat tour is a real treat.
Volcano’s Lava Rock Cafe is located in Volcano Village just minutes from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This volcano-themed diner serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an eclectic menu offering something for everyone. From soups, salads, sandwiches, and burgers to fajitas, southern fried chicken, and beef stroganoff, the menu has it all. There is also a nice selection of local Hawaiian dishes to choose from and a keiki menu for the kids. Breakfast is available until 11am and lunch is served until 5pm. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday nights you can enjoy live music from 5pm to 8:30pm. Make sure you check out their dessert menu and there is a full bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails.
