Hawaiian Vanilla Company Overview
Reddekopp’s family-run farm, established in 1998, is the first commercial vanilla operation in the United States. Experience a working vanilla farm and a lunch that highlights all the ways vanilla can be used at the Hawaiian Vanilla Company. Learn about how the farm came into existence, how vanilla is grown and processed and see for yourself what a vanilla farm looks like. Reservations are required due to limited space, so Check Availability and Book in Advance.
Enjoy a Farm Tour, Tasting or Luncheon
Luncheon and Farm Tour
The Luncheon and Farm Tour begins with beverages of either vanilla ice tea or lemonade followed by lunch. An example of the menu is a main course of a vanilla citrus bourbon chicken sandwich, oven-roasted potatoes with a vanilla southwest rub and an organic salad topped by a vanilla raspberry balsamic dressing, feta and pecans. A vegetarian lunch option can also be arranged. Dessert features a scoop of Hawaiian vanilla bean ice cream and comes at the end of the vanilla presentation and tour of the farm.
Tasting and Farm Tour
Enjoy a 2 hour Hawaiian Vanilla Tasting Tour, and explore all of the unique flavors and fragrances of this delectable spice. This tour will teach you how to cook with Vanilla, as well as understand how it works in food and how to properly utilize its flavor characteristics. You’ll learn the difference between savory and sweet applications for Vanilla, as well as explore its use in a variety of dishes. After the Culinary Tasting presentation and sampling, you will be taken on a Farm Tour of the Hawaiian Vanilla Vineyard.
Farm Tour Only
If you only have an hour to spare, stop in for a farm tour (reservation still required). Price includes a welcome beverage of Vanilla Lemonade or Vanilla Ice Tea, the Vanilla Presentation, dessert and a tour of the farm.
When you are finished with your tour make sure to stop by the gift shop and check out all of the products infused with their Hawaiian vanilla. The gift shop is open Monday through Saturday.
