Waimea Coffee Company is a wonderful dining option when visiting Waimea or Hawi. It’s a great local café, serving excellent coffee, a variety of breakfast and lunch options and is located in a nice, quaint shopping center.
It was voted “Best Cup of Coffee” by readers of the North Hawaii News and also received two outstanding awards for “Best Sandwich” and “Best Eco-Friendly Business”
Their breakfast options include a variety of bagel sandwiches, wraps, fresh smoothies and acai bowls. Lunch brings salads, sandwiches, and paninis. Waimea Coffee Company is a popular place so there is usually a bit of a line, but it’s worth the wait. The staff is friendly, experienced and service oriented.
You can enjoy your drink or meal inside, outdoors on their covered porch, or use their convenient drive-up window. You can also grab a cup of coffee and stroll around the local shops just steps away. If you’re eating in, there is free Wifi. They also sell coffee by the bag. Come for the coffee, stay for the Aloha!
