The Hamakua Country Club is a beautiful 9-hole public golf course located in Honokaa, Hawaii. This unique gem of a course is situated 1,200 feet above sea level providing stunning ocean views. It was designed by Frank Anderson and opened in 1926, making it the second oldest golf course on the Big Island. The course has a total yardage of 2,490, the slope rating is 101, and the USPGA rating is 31.9. The greens and fairways on this public course are relatively small and coupled with the strong winds in the area, provides a definite challenge for golfers.

The Hamakua Country Club is generally a walking course; however, carts are available for rental, it is recommended that you call beforehand to reserve your cart. The Hamakua Course also does not have a pro shop or a driving range, golf club rentals are however available at the clubhouse. The course is also available to host golf tournaments and other golfing events.

Adults – $20 per day. $10 after 4 pm
Under 17 – free with a paying adult
Cart Rental – $10 per person for 18-holes
Club Rental – $5 per day for the full set
