Tours
A tour to their farm on the edge of Hawaii’s ancient Kahaluu Forest Reserve allows the coffee connoisseur to visit 3 award-winning farms in one area and learn about the unique growing conditions these beans thrive in. Totaling over 26 acres each, the High Mountain Ohia forest surrounding the farm contributes to its fruity, well-balanced flavor with hints of cherry, chocolate and black tea. Warranting the Department of Agriculture’s Seal of Quality program, you can learn how Buddha’s coffee beans are hand selected then dried in the sun followed by a multi-step process creating a java masterpiece.
Their gift shop sells uniquely crafted handbags made from coffee sacks and repurposed Hawaiian fabric. Guests are also invited to visit their Kona Gold Rum Company in Kealakekua. Here you can enjoy a variety of rum cakes while cupping their unique coffee blends in the historic Kona coffee tasting room.
A guided walking or drive tour is available for a small fee per person. Up to five people can fit in the vehicle but call in advance to make your reservation. Tour information was current when posted but is subject to change.
