With a casual take-out style atmosphere, Da Poke Shack is known throughout the Big Island for its incredibly delicious and super fresh poke. Some favorites include the Pele’s Kiss spicy poke and the traditional Hawaiian poke, they also offer shrimp, tako and taegu poke. For those who don’t eat fish, the traditional lau lau and kalua pulled pork hot plates are popular. All bowls and plates are served with locally inspired side dishes and brown or white rice. Some of the sides include kim chee, seaweed salad, garlic sesame soy beans and quinoa salad, and more. There are also several gluten-free and vegan options on the menu to accommodate dietary restrictions.

They are mostly a take-away counter, but they have some shared picnic style tables. We recommend grabbing some poke and eating it at a nearby beach with your toes in the sand as nature intended!
