Puna Farmers Markets
Puna is host to several large Farmers Markets offering up some of the island’s best produce, delicious cuisine and handmade crafts.
Nestled behind the Old Holualoa Post office and beyond the boardwalk running on the left side of the Holualoa Ukulele Gallery, is the Dovetail Gallery.
Dovetail is a fusion of the artistic dream team Gerald Ben and Renee Fukumoto-Ben. In this artist haven, you will find contemporary and abstract art and sculpture with one of a kind pieces of fine furniture designed and handcrafted by Gerald right on site.
The Dovetail boasts contemporary fine art pieces, bowls, jewelry, lamps, ceramic bowls, oil paintings and hand-carved furniture. Art aficionados will appreciate the hand-carved furniture, lamps, and bowls by Gerald Ben, sculpture and ceramics by David Kuraoka and Sam Rosen to name a few. For those that truly appreciate museum-quality visionary design, this gallery has everything for the discerning shopper, designer or architect who wants to bring “Aloha” home.
