The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort Overview
Positioned above one of the most famous tropical beaches in the world, the Hapuna Beach Resort is a coastal paradise. The iconic resort underwent a complete makeover as part of a transformation into a Westin Resort in 2018. They reopened with a fresh round of luxury renovations to guest rooms and amenities: restaurants, pools, grounds and lounge areas.

The resort at Hapuna Beach is one of the most established and popular stays on the entire island, which is why we were excited to see how the extensive renovation effort transformed the already impressive accommodation. One section of rooms is still under construction as of July 2020.
The hotel has always maintained a classy, modern approach to Hawaiian resort living. Oversized guest rooms, and beautiful open-air communal areas with a terraced garden and pool area make for a breezy, relaxing experience. With a golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, an impressive spa and fitness facility, and plenty of natural beachfront to explore nearby, guests will have little to want for during a stay at the Hapuna Beach Resort.
With its incredible location fronting the world-famous Hapuna Beach, a stay at the resort will place you within walking distance of the best beach activities on the Big Island.
