Big Island Lava Boat Tours
No visit to the Big Island is complete without heading out to see molten lava. There are many ways to see the flows but a Lava Boat tour is a real treat.
Ohelo Cafe provides upscale dining in a casual cozy setting. With each meal, the chefs combine their culinary skill and creativity with locally sourced ingredients. Dishes on the menu rotate regularly but some favorites are the wood-fired cauliflower appetizer, Ohelo baby back ribs and the Kaua’i Shrimp Alfredo. The wood-fired pizzas are thin, light and crispy with lots of toppings to choose from.
Ohelo has a full bar with a sizable wine list, local craft beers and creative cocktails. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, space is at a premium so reservations are recommended. You can place your order and take it to-go if you would prefer.
