Located in downtown Hilo in the historic Pineapple building, you’ll find a unique dining experience in Pineapples Island Fresh Cuisine. The atmosphere in this open-air restaurant is lively and laid back. We’ve included them in both the casual and fine dining sections because their food quality is upscale while they maintain a fun and casual environment.
This family owned and operated restaurant works with local suppliers, artists, and entertainers to bring you the best Hawaii has to offer. They source as much of their food and beverage selection locally as possible. The menu has a nice variety of appetizers, salads, soups, burgers, wraps, pasta, fish, chicken, steak and ribs. A selection of vegetarian dishes are also available.
There are daily specials and the fresh catch of the day comes from local Hawaiian waters. There is a full bar and a favorite are the cocktail samplers, the flight of coladas, with four delicious flavors to try is great. Happy hour runs from 2pm-5pm but is available only in the bar. Tuesday through Sunday there is fantastic live entertainment to enjoy, with local musicians playing starting at 6:30pm.
