Short N Sweet Bakery Market Cafe offers a wide variety of ‘made from scratch’ desserts and pastries as well as salads and paninis. As you enter the cafe, the aroma of freshly-baked artisan bread and espresso transport you to a French Patisserie. The handcrafted cakes of edible art could easily be on the trendiest baking show.

Inspired by the wealth of Big Island’s bountiful produce – proprietor and master baker Maria started baking at a young age.  Her ability to transform Hawaii’s harvest into tasty paninis, fresh salads, heavenly desserts and pastries are enjoyed by locals and visitors. Their Lilikoi cheesecake is creamy and dense but the Banana Cream Pie with gingerbread crust is a decadent delight.  Due to this cafe’s popularity, it can get crowded but picnic planning might just be the best way to enjoy these mouth-watering flavors under the Hawaiin sunshine.
