Short N Sweet Bakery Market Cafe offers a wide variety of ‘made from scratch’ desserts and pastries as well as breakfast sandwiches, salads and paninis. Inspired by the wealth of Big Island’s bountiful produce – proprietor and master baker Maria started baking at a young age and honed her craft to become a nationally recognized pastry chef.  Her ability to transform Hawaii’s harvest into tasty pastries is enjoyed by locals and visitors. The Lilikoi cheesecake is creamy and dense but the Banana Cream Pie with gingerbread crust is a decadent delight.  Due to this cafe’s popularity, it can be busy but grabbing something to go and planning a picnic might just be the best way to enjoy these mouth-watering flavors under the Hawaiian sunshine.
