Kona Coffee Guide & Tasting Tours
World-renowned for the quality and consistency of its beans, Kona Coffee alone is worth a trip to the Big Island.
This favorite Kona establishment is a two-story bar and restaurant located in Kailua Kona, just across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Patio seating upstairs and down allows access to beautiful ocean views and stunning sunsets or get out of the sun and cool off indoors. They offer a large selection of tap beer as well as a full bar. In the evenings, this is a great spot to people watch on Ali’i Drive or watch a game of beach volleyball on the sand court next door.
The menu selection is varied enough to please just about everyone. From fish tacos to burgers, sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and more. We like their fish tacos and fish and chips, they are both delivered as a huge serving and always hit the spot. Their pizzas are also a popular item and the nachos are big enough to feed several people.
This Kona location is one of the few restaurants open after 9pm and offering a late night menu. This makes them a perfect spot if you get into Kona on a late flight and are starving when you arrive. They have a sports bar in their upstairs dining area with plenty of televisions to catch your favorite sports team and lots of pub food to keep the munchies at bay. They open early enough that you can catch the early games while sipping on a cup of coffee and downing a hardy breakfast to get you going.
