Kona Sweets is a quaint owner-operated bakery, their pastries are avaialable at Gypsea Gelato in Kealakekua, Hawaii. Kona Sweets provides beautiful, delicious, hand-crafted cakes and pastries for any occasion from wedding to birthday. Established in 2011, Janel Panek has been baking since 1988. Every creation is made from scratch and to order using real butter, cage-free local eggs, unbleached flour and local natural, organic ingredients.
The cakes are moist with delicious flavors and beautiful decorations. The cream cheese filling is paired harmoniously with each cake flavor and her European style buttercream frosting is a baker’s delight. As each cake requires time, skill, and design, a non-refundable deposit is requested at the time of special order.
