The Oceanfront Suite #1 has a view rivaling any tropical destination. Hilo Bay Oceanfront B&B is a vintage property that was first built back in 1922.

The owners are extremely hospitable and accommodating; they even provide custom wake-up calls for early risers – complete with a fresh pot of coffee! Every guest is treated to healthy and delicious breakfast, complete with a locally sourced, organically grown granola, tropical fruit platter and fresh made banana bread! Guests with any dietary restrictions will be accommodated upon prior notification to the kitchen staff.

Nearby attractions include the Akaka Falls and Rainbow Falls, as well as the Pana’ewa Rainforest Zoo – the only one of its kind in the United States. Amateur astronomers should check out Mauna Kea, a dormant volcano that doubles as a star-gazing spot. Hawaii Botanical Gardens feature over 2,000 plant species for the green thumb, while there is a full-scale planetarium at the ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center.
